Meet Sweet Pea! Sweet Pea is a 2 year old Dachshund. She is a super sweet and loving little girl. She was rescued off the kill list at our local shelter for being scared. They found her with a harness and leash on so she was loved by someone. This sweet little girl is really into her humans and would do best in a home where someone is home often. The shelter environment really scared the daylights out of her so right now she's not wanting to leave my side but I'm thinking in a few days when she feels more confidant she will get some independence. She uses the doggy door and is good with other dogs. If you are thinking about adopting this little girl please consider her fragile feeling before you decide to adopt her and make sure that you know that you want a dog and that you will not give up on her even when she's old. She absolutely cannot go through what she went through again. She is one of the sweetest love bugs I've fostered. She's very animated, especially when you come home, and any chance she gets she tries to slide on your lap.
