Timber came to us with 12 babies in tow. She was scheduled to be euthanized in a kill shelter and all of you here on Facebook pulled together and helped find additional foster homes so her and her babies weren't left behind. Not only did she come in with babies but she was also heartworm positive and she underwent treatment in April for it and has recovered. It has been a long haul for Timber here in the shelter. 7 months is a long time.
She is a happy girl and we haven't found anyone that she doesn't like. She was very protective when her babies were little and in fact she did destroy a kitten when it wandered into the area she was at. Since weaning the babies we have not seen that protective nature but she is still not a fan at all of cats.
Her papers indicate she is a Chow/Lab mix.
She is housebroken and will do fine with male dogs if properly introduced. She does great with kids.
She deserves a family of her own to love her. You won't be sorry if you adopt her.
