Hi! My name is Paulie and I'm a 13 pound Maine Coon mix. That might sound kinda big but Maine Coons can get even bigger than that, so I'm not fat, just a big boy!
And talk about a rough start! The nice people at the shelter think I got hit by a car! But I've healed nicely and my injuries haven't slowed me down. I had to have a couple teeth removed and one of my eyes was injured but it works fine, But I can tell you, I feel great and am doing pretty well in my foster home. I make my foster mommy laugh because I will chirp at the birdies outside.
Since I'm still a youngster I love to play! I'm learning what I can and can't scratch on, so a scratching post is a must! I'd probably love a cat tree, too. I also love to chase the laser pointer!
The other kitties in my foster home are older and they don't like to play the way I do, so at times its kind of frustrating. I'd probably do better as an only kitty or with another young cat who likes to roughhouse. Also, I think I'd like more attention than I'm getting, so being an only kitty or one of two would be better for me.
And while I love to play I can be mellow and hang.  I love people but sometimes I get overstimulated and can bite, so no little kids, okay? Also I'm not to happy around dogs.
Despite my rough start I'm a healthy kitty and don't have to take any medications, and I always use my litter box.
My adoption fee is $150.00 and includes all of my routine vetting, rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations, FelV/FIV testing, deworming, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention, microchip, boarding and transportation costs if applicable, along with an offer for 30 days of free 24PetWatch pet insurance!

So if you'd like a spunky kitty full of fun to call your own, I'm your guy!
