Walter's fosterer writes...
Walter is a fun, spunky, cute, little boy filled with personality. Walter was very neglected as a young pup and so is still learning about manners and limits. He is catching on! Go Walter! He is a first-rate cuddler and loves to be near his people.
Walter is very active and so we are looking for a person or a family that can give Walter lots of walks and playtime and a home that has access to a yard or green spaces. Because he is still a bit of a puppy, and likes to jump and play-bite, we are only placing him in a home with children that are much older or have dog experience.
Walter loves toys and is learning to play fetch! He loves the company of other dogs and would love to have another equally active small dog to play with. Walter will require regular trips to the groomer and baths.
Though Walter is crate trained, he prefers not to be left in a crate for very long. He is a boy on the move!
If you are interested in Walter, consider letting us know by filling out a (no obligation) adoption application (http://www.pgspca.org/adopt/online-adoption-application/).
Walter is NOT expecting to attend the next adoption show, June 11th at the Big Bad Woof in Hyattsville, although there's always a possibility that plans will need to change at the last minute.
We are an all volunteer group and do not operate a shelter. All of our animals are in foster homes. We are unable to place our animals outside of the Baltimore/DC area.
