Loyal- Protective- Playful- Chub Chub is true to his breed!
Chub is a gorgeous Chow/ Korean Jindo mix who is on the hunt for a very special home. He has a desire to please and loves being the center of attention. He is highly food motivated and it's no surprise that he's already mastered sit, down, come and is completely house broken. Chub would love to join a home with owners who will continue to work on his obedience training and provide lots of opportunities for socialization and enrichment. He does best when he's mentally and physically stimulated!
Chub loves receiving attention, but can be a bit mouthy. This is why we believe he would do best in a home without small kids or cats. He requires slow introductions to other dogs secondary to his size and strength. He thinks cats are just too fun to chase! He does best with dogs who are of similar size and enjoy playing as he does. If he had to pick a favorite toy- it would be tennis balls!! There is nothing better than chasing them in the yard. Chub seems to love every woman he meets, but is slow to warm up to men. With slow and proper introductions he does quite well!
We would love to see him in an active, adult home with folks who are experienced with the breed or experienced dog owners.
