My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dan Daly has endured more in his life than anyone should. We tend to take in the hard medical cases, and for a time, were unsure whether Dan was going to pull through. He proved he had the will! You see, he was burned by something caustic all over his neck and shoulder. The pain was so intense, he was screaming and losing control of his bodily functions. We have no idea why someone would EVER do this, and no one has been caught to date. What we do know is he loves people, and is an all around happy guy once he began to heal. He LOVES other dogs and wiggles all over when happy.

Dan Daly was named after a Marine and Medal of Honor recipient because of his will to survive, and we have determined he was someone's beloved pet once. He knows his basic commands, is kind to all he meets and has finally healed enough to go to his new forever home. The wounds look horrendous, and were at one time, but there is healthy skin and even peach fuzz growing back. A true testament to the forgiving nature of dogs. He has put it behind him.

Dan Daly's adoption fee is $200. All MVPC dogs are heart worm tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate trained and on a great potty training schedule.

ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. DO NOT USE THE PETFINDER/ADOPTAPET CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those--only submitted applications through our website will receive a response once approved. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25 and do not consider an electric fence a form of confinement. Because we are volunteer based and a home visit is required, we have a two hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Thank you for your understanding!
