Buddy's Story...
Buddy came to us from Mack's Creek MO after being tossed around from person to person due to a Pit Bull ban in Camdenton. Buddy was skin and bones at 54 pounds after he was made to hunt for his own food with the last person that kept him. He has had several weeks of consistent meals along with love and attention and the boy is back to a normal weight (85 pounds) and a big happy clown. Buddy has a low deep bark that must take his whole body to make happen as his front legs come off the ground when he is barking. Buddy is 2-3 years old and a beautiful dog. He has pretty good manners for his size and listens well to correction. He can sit and lay down on command, though his version of laying down is to roll over on his back and wiggle his butt! He is an easy maintenance dog for his size and does well in his crate at night. Buddy is selective about other dogs and seems to do fine with some and others he does not like. He is generally not fond of male dogs. He would do best as an only dog or with a female companion, but it would have to be one he likes! He loves to try to chase the barn cats here so would do best with out a cat in the picture. He is a big powerful boy that needs someone familiar with handling large breed dogs.. If interested in Buddy please contact Kathy at 660-248-2733.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Fayette Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Fayette, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Fayette.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fayette already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fayette breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fayette paves the way for another one to be saved.
