Here's what the humans have to say about me:
JOEY
Nothing is known about Joey before he came to the shelter. When the staff arrived early one cold Winter morning this year, they found him tied up outside- cold, abandoned, and afraid. It's not surprising then that he can be wary, even fearful, around new people which makes him a little hard to get to know. But it's worth the effort. Once he is comfortable with someone, he is affectionate and easy to manage.
Joey would do well in a relatively quiet, stable, one-dog household. Any children should be older. He is quiet, needs moderate exercise only and is otherwise undemanding, except of a family's love and attention. For the right family with a bit of patience, Joey would be a loyal and loving companion.
Joey is a medium-sized Pitbull/Terrier mix. He is about three to four years of age.
