Here's what the humans have to say about me:
***ADOPTION PENDING***
Meet Molly! Molly has got to be the most fun-loving and fun-seeking puppy I have ever met! This sweet 5 month old Great Dane puppy will steal your heart with her constant prancing and happy-go-lucky personality. She has these soft dark eyes that will melt your heart, until she decides to pounce on you and give you lots of puppy kisses. Molly does great with other dogs, though she can sometimes be a bit rough not understanding her size and she will only be getting bigger and bigger. We are currently working on teaching her to mind her size, it’s a work in progress. She also likes the resident cats and at times we find her trying to play with them. So far Molly has shown us nothing but a well-balanced and accepting puppy, which makes things much easier when having a giant breed. Because Molly is an oversized puppy, we are looking for a home with no small children as we would not want her to accidentally knock over a small child.
Molly loves her food; therefore, a requirement for her new home is to use an effective slow feeding bowl to help reduce the risk of bloat. Molly would also like to have a fully fenced in yard to stretch her long legs in safely. She would also love to have another dog to play with as she has energy to spare or at minimum lots of doggy friends in her new neighbourhood. Molly also does fantastic in the car and loves going to rides with her people. She is also crate trained and housetraining is going very well as long as she is supervised and kept on a schedule. Molly sleeps well through the night and for the most part her crate is dry in the morning but needs to be takes out right away to avoid an accident inside.
We will only consider applicants with large/giant breed experience, preferably Great Dane experience since this breed is predisposed to health risks such as bloat and/or stomach torsion. As well as homes experienced in caring for such a large breed with an understanding of the costs associated with having such a large dog.
All in all, Molly is a very fun dog to have, full of life and zest for life. If you feel Molly is the girl for you, please fill out the adoption application or contact us for more information.
