Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet sweet Duchess2 was headed to a local shelter along with her four siblings when her owner passed away after a motorcycle accident. Luckily we swooped in before that happened.
At 9 years old Duchess2 is a 60 lbs Austrailian Shepard Mix who has unfortunately lost a good portion of her sight. First thing was first...this girl needed a bath and to be groomed badly. From living outside she has pebbles and misc stuff in her fur so the best course of action was to shave her. How adorable she looks now though! Her blood work looks great and is not a result of diabetes...shew.
Duchess2 has mastered the dog door and is becoming more and more confident every day. She need slow introduction to other dogs because of her blindness and seems to love all people that she meets...especially small ones.
Let us know if you have room in your home and heart for Duchess2.
