Alex is a sweet, friendly boy who is looking for a forever home! He and his brother, Adam (adopted), were living under a trailer and were rescued from a hoarding situation when they were wee little babies. Alex is a very handsome brown tabby with big green eyes and a personality that will melt your heart. He is a sweetheart and a big love bug when he feels safe and comfortable in his environment. He loves petting and receiving affection and will give you kisses and nose nuzzles to let you know how much he loves you. He is shy though and will seek a hiding spot when he is frightened or when there is too much activity, Due to his timid personality, potential adopters must be willing to give him plenty of time to settle in and understand that he will need space and a safe room/hiding area when things are a bit too noisy or chaotic for him. In addition, a quiet home without young children is required for our sweet boy. I am very patient with shy kitties and I often find that they bond the most strongly to their humans because once they build trust with you, you're their best friend for life. Alex has a very gentle and docile disposition and he would love to live with a feline companion or two as he finds comfort being near them. He is definitely not an alpha cat and is quite submissive around other kitties (I can often find him snuggled up with at least one of his foster siblings). He may also adjust to a cat-friendly dog once properly introduced. He is a big fan of canned food and enjoys chasing his feather stick and laser pointer on occasion. Alex is neutered, tested negative for FelV/FIV, current on vaccinations and microchipped - DOB 3/28/14.
