46033- Spartacus's Story...
This handsome boy has been at the shelter since June! He has a rich, black coat with a little patch of white at the base of his throat and a couple of stray white hairs on his back.

Spartacus is a complete love. Just open his kennel door and he starts to purr, long before you even begin to pet him. Once you pet him, he will stretch out against your hand and roll over encourage you to love him so more!

He is already neutered and ready to go home! Will it be your home?!?

Our cats cost $52 for residents of Thurston County that live in Olympia, Lacey or Tumwater City Limits, or $50 for those in unicorporated Thurston County or out of Thurston County Residents. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including FVRCP (feline distemper combo) and Strongid (wormer), and are tested for feline leukemia.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

46033- Spartacus, a Olympia Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Olympia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Olympia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Olympia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Olympia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Olympia paves the way for another one to be saved.
