Hi everyone! Bandit here. I'm a beautiful, fit, two-year-old border collie who loves to get out and play! Tennis balls are a favorite, but I will fetch anything you throw me. I'm learning to walk beautifully with my easy walk harness, and I enthusiastically greet other walkers in the neighborhood. And if you happen to be a runner, I would can run along with you. I rest quietly in my crate at night, and wait patiently in the morning to go out. My medication is easy: one pill slipped into a piece of cheese or spoonful of peanut butter in the morning and one at night -- I gobble everything right up! I enjoy attention from everyone I meet -- and can give you a border collie hug if you ask. I do like to check the kitchen counters to see if there is a tasty morsel there, but my foster mom is convincing me that's not a good idea. If you're looking for a gorgeous, active, fun-loving companion, please think of me. Summer's coming and I would love to play in the sunshine with my furever family!
Bandit is a sweet, affectionate girl who knows lots of commands and loves having a job! She has a seizure disorder which is controlled with medication. Please contact Toni if you are interested in adopting her.
Bandit is settling into her home here, and is learning lots of new tricks, including “down” and “touch.” Any treat, however small, is a great inducement. She’s great in her crate, where she rests quietly or sleeps. When out, she’s looking for toys or playing with them, or asking to be petted. She is very huggable. She’s also no couch potato dog, so be prepared for long walks or runs, throwing a ball or trying her out in agility! She is also interested in shoes, so we’ve learned to put them away.

Bandit has respectfully requested a no-cat home.

Bandit's settling in at her foster home, relishing being scratched and petted all over and enjoying some chewy treats. She loves people and will walk up to anyone, tail wagging. She's a happy-go-lucky girl and will joyfully bound up the stairs when it's time to go outside and take a walk or chase after a ball. Fetching is truly her favorite thing in the whole world, next to food, of course. She'll wait patiently for you to throw the ball, having learned that nudging you is not going to get results! She's also crazy about learning new tricks and is a fast learner. Bandit is amazing in her crate when it's time to turn in for the evening. She lays down quietly and never complains. This girl has seizures and has to take medication twice a day. She hasn't had a seizure since coming to her foster home and the vet has declared her healthy, otherwise. Bandit requests a home without cats, and says they make her crazy. She also tells me that she would love a forever home that will give her the love and attention she so deserves. She's worth it!

Bandit came to her new foster home today! What a great dog. She is very sweet, smart and always on the move. She quickly found the toy box and would get me to throw a ball 24/7 if possible. She’s a good eater, house trained and loves treats. She walks pretty well on a leash and is calm in her crate.

Bandit suffers from seizures which are controlled with medication given twice a day. Contact Toni if you’re interested in giving Bandit a furever home!
