Callie's Story...
Sweet Callie was taken from a bad situation where the people had way too many kitties... and she was pregnant. She was just a baby herself... and sadly she delivered prematurely and lost all her babies. But she is now over that loss and looking forward to a life filled with love and happiness! Callie is what is called a dilute calico in color and she is very sweet and loving considering the life she has had so far! She will make anyone an awesome friend and she looks forward to be babied herself for the rest of her life! :-) Callie is about a year, she is shy when you first meet her so she needs a patient loving home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Callie, a Newtown Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Newtown, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Newtown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newtown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newtown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newtown paves the way for another one to be saved.
