Rocky's Story...
Hi, My name is Rocky. I am a 2-3 yr old Golden Retriever/Husky/Collie/ with a little bit of awesome thrown in! I love kids and people. Car rides and food are tied for the best thing ever. Except for treats. Those are the better best thing. Cats interest me but only enough to sniff at. Maybe. Unless there's food. Then I want food.
I'm nice to little dogs and don't mind dogs my size either. Or at least close to my size. I'm a good sized boy, about 45-50lbs.
My foster mama says I have the brightest eyes ever and super soft fur. I love to be pet and brushed.
I'm learning my name and how to walk on a leash and how to play and how to sit and that I shouldn't jump up on people. Even though I really like people. I get treats when I'm good and I love treats. And food. I'm doing well with house breaking too because they're treats involved. Did I say I love treats?
I'm very active and I need people to walk and play with. A fenced yard where I can really run would be awesome, but I'm game for being walked on a leash as long as you my new family like long walks too!
My name is Rocky (though I answer to The Kraken and Kraken and TK.).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a WESTMINSTER Golden Retriever/Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Siberian Husky for sale in WESTMINSTER, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in WESTMINSTER.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in WESTMINSTER already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a WESTMINSTER breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Siberian Husky breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in WESTMINSTER paves the way for another one to be saved.
