My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pixie is an adorable not quite 3 year old brindle girl, who just came to when she inured the muscles in the back legs. With some rest, she should do fine. Her small dog status is not yet known, but she is not cat tolerant.
I’m Pixie, both in my size and in my enchanting ways. I joined the SA GREYS family because I hurt both of my thighs running as fast as I could. Now I can’t run very fast anymore, so I decided to change my career to “pet.” I’ve heard really good things about being a pet.

A nice man named Larry drove me to the vet for a checkup. He said I was the nicest, cuddliest greyhound he’d ever transported for SA GREYS. I blushed to the roots of my brindle fur…

Dr. Nausley said I’d be just fine and that I could move to Ms. Wanda’s boarding facility. I rode down with Jessie, another girl greyhound. She seems really nice.

Wanda says that I am a playful, happy, continuously tail wagging girl, and that I want to be peoples very best friend. I knew that! What I also know is that I love treats and food, and I ADORE toys! Ms. Wanda tells me even though I have my very own toy, I need to learn to share with the other greyhounds. I suppose she’s right, so I’m going to try.

Next steps: no-puppies surgery and a foster home. And, I just know that there is a forever home that could use some magical Pixie “dust’”!
