Choco's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Choco's Story...
Choco is a 7 month old boxer mix, he came to his foster home about 20 lbs underweight and eaten up with mange. Since then he has gained about 17 lbs and his skin has cleared up, he's now working on growing back his beautiful chocolate brown coat. He is nuetered, house trained, and crate trained. He loves loves loves to play outside, especially fetch and frisbee. He is good with other dogs around his size and he'll be great with kids over 5. He doesn't work well with cats, he's too curious about them for their comfort. He knows how to sit and he is working on leash training and basic commands. He is also protective of his home and family and has a great warning bark, but will back off when he is reassured by his people that everything is alright. Choco will make a fantastic forever friend!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Choco, a PORTLAND Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in PORTLAND, or seeking a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in PORTLAND.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in PORTLAND already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a PORTLAND breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in PORTLAND paves the way for another one to be saved.
