Nicole's Story...
Nicole is a petite and beautiful blue dobergirl, around 2 years old and weighing just 50 lbs. Her stunning amber eyes drill right to your heart! She has natural ears and a docked tail. Nicole is very sweet and has a docile disposition. She is very eager to please her people and tries to climb into your lap to show you how glad she is to see you. We have not observed her around small children, but she has had at least one litter of puppies and will probably be a great nanny-dog for a young family. She is shy and unsure in new situations but warms up quickly to people who are kind to her. Nicole needs to learn basic commands, but has learned “sit” very quickly and she is good on a leash. She will need careful attention at first because she doesn’t yet know how to tell you when she needs to go outside. She goes into a crate reluctantly, but without trouble. She is very happy to be showered with love and praise, quick to learn, and will be easy to socialize. Nicole does great with other dogs, and became very energetic and playful after a short adjustment time. She is quick and agile, and will need open space to run and jump. She loves chew toys with squeakers, nylabones, and soft rubber balls that pop back into shape. She will shred fabric toys if given the chance. She has picked up shoes and carried them to different parts of the house, and we don’t know if she would have chewed them. We have not seen her around cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nicole, a Arlington Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
