My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kate looks like purebred old english sheepdog. She is approx 18 months and 53 lbs. She was very matted when we rescued her and she had to be shaved down at the groomers. She is an active dog and likes to run and play. Her foster mom says she sleeps on her bed all night long and never moves. She is pretty well house trained, a little strong on the leash and could do with some good basic leash and obedience training, a typical young oes. She has beautiful light blue eyes, and she has one approx 3 inch diameter patch of hair loss on one side. The groomer felt it was where someone had pulled a big matt off of her. The vet thinks it may not grow back hair, but when her coat grows back it should cover it up,otherwise her coat is beautiful.

She will need an experienced oes adopter and a secure fenced in yard, preferably another dog for company and a playmate, she loves other dogs she is just stunning and will make a great companion.

If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet. We will go over all fees with you via email.
