3/31/16 These beautiful babies were found at a lake here in Arkansas and taken in by a good Samaritan. They appeared to have been dumped there and there were 3 of them. Koda and Aspen look like husky mixed babies while Snickers appears to be a hound/catahoula cross. We are not certain if they are all littermates, or if they just found eachother after being dumped there, as that is a common dumping area for unwanted pets. :( In any case, they all appear to be about 3 months old. They are very good natured, loving, precious babies and will make wonderful additions to any family situation. They are located in Arkansas but out of state transport is available once they are adopted. For more info, email kelley.aasr@gmail.com

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $300, and for older puppies and adults, the typical fee is $250. This includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (as well as treatment if they test positive) for all pups/dogs over 6 months old. There is a transport fee of $140 per dog. We use Got Orphans Transport, and you can see more about them at www.gotorphanstransport.com.

About Adopt-A-Stray - VT

About Our Rescue Group...

Adopt-A-Stray was founded in Jan. 2010, by Kelley Prichard. Since then, it has grown to include a few wonderful volunteers who work very hard to help ensure that our pets are place in loving, forever homes. We are based in Alexander, AR, but we list all of our available pets in the northeast. We work with several different transporters to get our babies to their new homes in the northeast once they are adopted. The transporters we use most often are Got Orphans Transport (www.gotransporters.com) and Alpha Dog (www.alphadogtransport.com).All pets are given age appropriate vaccinations before they leave. Every pet is seen by our vet prior to transport. If you see a pet listed that interests you, please be sure to read the description thoroughly and inquire to the email address listed. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
