Claire's Story...
This gorgeous girl is Claire and she is searching for a quiet home to spend out the rest of her days in. Claire is a timid girl who takes awhile to get comfortable in new environments. She likes having her cheeks rubbed and with some patient love she'll warm up to you. Her luxurious long fur is going to require regular brushing to keep it from matting. Claire is not a fan of other cats and needs to be the only kitty in her new home. She also is too shy to live around dogs because they are simply too overwhelming for her. Claire needs an adult only home that will provide her with the calm, loving environment that she needs. If you are looking for a quiet companion cat and want to meet Claire, please come to the front to fill out an adoption application to spend some quality time with her today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Claire, a Bellingham Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
