My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Grace is a 10 month old female Schnauzer/Maltese mix with a body similar to a Dachshund. She is small and compact, and currently weighs 11 pounds. Grace has a unique color combination with white on her feet, chest, a bit of white on the top of her head. The rest of her body is gray and black. Her coat is easy to maintain with brushing every couple of days. Grace tends to be somewhat submissive and if a dog greets her with aggressive behavior, she flops on her back. She comes when she's called and is eager to please. Whenever possible, Grace loves to cuddle and be petted gently. Grace functions best in a calm, safe environment without a lot of commotion. She enjoys the company of other small dogs and loves to play. She needs a home where she can feel safe and secure. Grace has limited previous training as she is learning to walk on a leash. She enjoys playing with dog toys and carrying a stuffed toy in her mouth. She is a quiet dog for her age and does not join other dogs when they are barking. Grace is very happy napping in a dog bed next to her foster mom. She appears to be a quick learner and is patiently waiting for that special family who will provide her with loving care and training. Grace is healthy and ready for her new forever home today!
