Rosalie's Story...
Rosalie is a pretty fawn and white Chi mix. She is approximately 4-5 yrs old around 12 pounds. She is a lovely girl, bashful at first but loves sitting on the chair next to her foster mom. She’s not afraid of the bigger dogs and tells them quite frankly to stay out of her bubble when they want to pester her. She is very peaceful and enjoys a nice pillow in the sunny window. She is not demanding at all, she's a totally sweet little girl. Rosalie was thought to be pregnant when she was rescued but turned out to be a uterus full of puss. We got her to the Vet just in time they said.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosalie, a Grants Pass Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Grants Pass, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Grants Pass.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grants Pass already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grants Pass breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grants Pass paves the way for another one to be saved.
