Shea's Story...
Sweet little Shea is looking for someone that will love her, take time letting her get used to you and that will want her to snuggle close. She will be the perfect little lap dog. Shea is 3 yrs old, up to date on her shots and already spayed. She is a little over 7 pounds and likes other dogs. Have no cats to test her with but I highly doubt she has a mean bone or thought in her body. She appears to have been mistreated by her previous humans as she will turn over on her back in submission when you reach for her and she has some scars on her little body. Shea is doing better every day with trust and will make a wonderful little friend.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shea, a Grants Pass Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Grants Pass, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Grants Pass.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grants Pass already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grants Pass breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grants Pass paves the way for another one to be saved.
