Sadie's Story...
Sadie:
Sadie has a sensitive soul and just wants to please you and be loved by you. Sadie was born 1/18/2011 and would love to have a family of her own for her birthday. The first five years of her life were spent chained next to her sisters Ruby and Gemma. Sometimes they were taken off the chains to hunt, but mostly they lived the lonely life of the forgotten chained dog. The chain that was used on her was absolutely ridiculous considering what a gentle girl she is. "Thanks" to the way she was treated as a hunting dog, Sadie cannot go to a home with cats or small dogs. She does absolutely fine with medium and large dogs. She adores children. She is loved by her foster family and they don't understand why she and her sisters have been waiting so long for their families to find them. Sadie has the most gentle, loving soul. Also, Sadie is not as big as she may look in the pictures and only weighs about 40lbs. Please adopt this angel and give her the life she deserves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a ROME Plott Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound for sale in ROME, or seeking a Plott Hound dog from a breeder in ROME.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in ROME already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a ROME breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound breeders who help with Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in ROME paves the way for another one to be saved.
