Bowie's Story...
Meet Bowie! A sweet boy looking to find his forever family. Bowie is a very fun and playful dog. He does seem to exhibit some anxiety so a home where he wont be left alone for to long would be best. He will also need plenty of exercise or he will become bored and destructive. He does well with other dogs and could live with another canine companion. A confident cat should be alright. Respectful children 8 years and older would be best as he can be a little reserved around new people. Bowie likes to give his people kisses and will cuddle with you once he feels safe and relaxed. He can be a bit whiny if hes not getting enough mental and physical stimulation. If you are interested in meeting Bowie, please fill out an application at customer service.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bowie, a Bellingham Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
