Sky's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Sky's Story...
Beautiful Sky!!!! Only you don't look up to see her. Her Birthdate is 2/18/13. Sky was found running the streets. She is one sweet girl. She is a bit independent, but with a loving streak. She has lots of high energy, so may need a very active family to go on walks and run and play with. She is not comfortable in a crate, as she does better with a baby gated safe area. She seems to be comfortable with certain dogs, so a play mate would be fine. She does have a prey drive and may not be good with kitty cats in the home. Sky would be best with an adult household, as she likes treats and toys so well she may try to guard them. MAS staff is working with this, but best with an adult household.

Meet-Your-Match Canineality color is: Green Go-Getter!!
For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sky, a Lake Odessa Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Lake Odessa, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Lake Odessa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Odessa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Odessa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Odessa paves the way for another one to be saved.
