Rusty here! I’m settling into life off the streets, although at first I really just wanted to hide in the dark places, like under the couch. But after only a few days, I started to realize that home living is not only safe, but fun too! I love to play with my foster parents-they have a mouse on a string toy, plus the laser pointer thingy which I can never catch! Someday, I’ll get that tiny little red dot and proclaim dominance over it. Until then, I’ll continue to chase it anywhere it tries to run. Oh, and I also love my foster canine sister, but she’s not very playful. I don’t know what her problem is, I think I’ve made it pretty clear I want to play with her. But all the rolling around in front of her, or running and biting her legs as I sprint past, she’s still not picking up on the hints. Bummer, I’d love a play mate! Before I was rescued, I lived on the streets with my dad-he showed me all the feeding spots and how to stay safe, but I don’t think I’d ever want that kind of lifestyle now. A nice home, with maybe a potential friend, is all I really need! Foster mom says I’m still a kitten, around 8 months old, so I have lots of energy, but most of the time when the sun’s up, I’m napping. Do you have a warm sunbeam for me to snooze in?
Rusty is playful and fun. She has been spayed, tested for FIV/leukemia, vaccinated and microchipped. The adoption amount is $80. If you have any questions or would like to meet her, contact email@example.com
