My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✰✰ ABBY Female 4 months of age and AVAILABLE - for more photos of ABBY please click http://norcalbcrescue.org/abby_2016.html ✰✰

Say hello to ABBY, a darling 4 month old border collie female pup! She has beautiful brindle markings on her right front leg. While primarily black and white, she has tan points in her coat coloring that make this smooth coated girl a unique beauty. Charming and bouncy describes our ABBY! She is happy, friendly puppy who loves to run and play, loves riding in a car, is cat curious but keeps her distance, and at the end of the day is a cozy couch cuddler. She loves the other adult dogs in her foster home and tries to engage them all in play. She is front and center when we play ball and she dances around the other dogs when she gets the ball, saying to them, "catch me if you can"!

ABBY has been an excellent guest at her foster home. She is housebroken and generally only chews on items offered to her - though at this age she may deem your fist worth a nosh from time to time! She is learning to crate and is generally quiet overnight. She may alarm bark when dogs pass by the front gate, but quiets down immediately when asked. ABBY enjoys exploring and is curious about all new things. She is confident and focused and very agile. An active life will suit her and she may well be a fun gal to train for agility.

Like all puppies she plays hard and then plops down for a puppy nap. We are charmed by her personality and her affectionate, loving demeanor. ABBY follows her foster mom around like . . . well, like a puppy! She is very much a people dog and a quick learner. She's learned to 'sit' and we're working on 'shake'. This adorable girl is ready to give us a goodbye puppy kiss and romp off to her new forever home!

ABBY has been started on her puppy vaccines, wormed, and microchipped. As a condition of puppy adoption, she will need to be altered by her new owner when she reaches approximately 6 months (specific time to be determined by your vet). In addition to the adoption fee, puppy adoption requires a $100 spay/neuter deposit. Upon our receiving the spay/neuter certificate from you, the deposit is refunded.
