Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oggy Doggy
Approx. 8 years old
Around 120 pounds
Extremely loving, just wants to sunbathe and get belly rubs.
Good with other dogs
He came into the East Valley Shelter as a stray and became a volunteer favorite. He is absolutely stunning. He's a bit under weight, we are working on bulking him up. He's a puller on the leash but it's more out of excitement to go to the grass to roll around. He seems very appreciative but at the same time sad. I wish he could tell us his story.
When he first came to us he was trying to bury his food as though to hide it and save it for later. He went as far as spreading it on the floor and hiding it under his bed. Since then we have been adding some wet food so he eats it immediately.
We are a 501c3 non-profit organization. Adoption process includes an adoption contract and home check. Adoption fee for dogs are $300 - 500 and for cats are $175. All of our animals are fixed, vaccinated, and chipped.
If you are interested in adopting or have further questions, please fill out the application at LAAR.ORG under the Adoption Process page.
