My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Elmer and I'd like to tell you my story. I am thought to be around 7 years old and a Bassett Hound mix. Not sure what other breeds I have in me, but I have a typical Bassett body and out-turned feet, but I have brindle fur. I think I'm a very handsome boy. I am a very laid-back boy. I am quiet and get along with everyone.

I was brought to a local vet after I got caught up in a gentleman's snare trap that protects his rabbits. Although I thought it was a good idea at the time I know it wasn't! After no one came forward to claim me, I arrived at Gail's Pets on March 17th. I am making new friends with other dogs here and I have met a lot of the volunteers.

I am looking for a furrever home - might that be with you? I hope so.
