Leo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Leo's Story...
Just as many Leos, our little Leo is known for his warm personality and zest for life! This little guy is a 4 year old Pekingese mix that sadly was surrendered by his owners. He may come off as shy, but he loves to give hugs and kisses once he warms up. He is very intelligent and already knows how to sit. Leo would do best in a household without small children and would love to be the only prince in his house!

**All Compassion in Action dogs must be adopted to families willing to have their pets be a part of their family and must be allowed inside-especially at night. No dog is allowed to be put on a "tie out" or chain outside and should be walked on a leash when not in a fenced in yard.** All Compassion in Action of TN dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations prior to adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Hagerstown Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
