Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dory was rescued from Detroit Animal Control in February of 2016. She was a volunteer favorite when she was at DAC and is also a fan favorite in her foster home. She weighs about 60 pounds, and is calm and sweet. Her go-to move is the "head nudge", where she lifts your hand with her head so she can get pet. She sits very pretty for treats and takes them very gently. Dory loves going for walks, but is pretty powerful on the leash (especially when she wants to sniff something) so she could use some practice. She is very calm inside of the household and loves to curl up on the couch with her human. She's a perfect lady at bath times and will just stand while she's bathed. She has been great with her calm foster dog sister and is currently working on slow introductions with other animals in the household to ensure the best outcome. She will most likely be good with most dogs as long as the introductions are done slowly, but she hasn't met cats. Dory is also crate trained and potty trained. She would probably be good with kids 10 and up due to her larger size.
