Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bones aka Chunky Bones was found curled up against a tree by hunters this past winter. When he was found he was truly just a bag of Bones. Since coming to 4 PAWS he has learned that eating is something that is available everyday so he no longer inhales his meals. Medically he was in rough shape; he had a perineal hernia and could no longer go to the bathroom without help. His teeth were a mess and he was emmaciated. Through his surgeries he remained an absolute cutie and cuddle bug who is certain that the world is his friend. He is a happy, active (but not hyper) boy who loves to play and explore.
Bones hasn't met a dog, cat or person he doesn't like. Bones is doing very well with housetraining, although there is still the occasional accident, especially when it is raining. He tries to bury his “treasures”, whether they are treats or toys!
Bones loves to cuddle, and as long as he is getting attention and love, it is all good. Bones is active, and will benefit from more practice on leash, but he does enjoy his walks! He is ALL beagle when it comes to sniffing, so don’t expect a jogging partner, but he sure is fun for a stroll!
If interested in adoption, please complete an online application on 4 Paws Animal Rescue's website at www.4pawz.org. We verify the care of past/current pets.
