ROSEY's Story...
Say hello to the amazingly sweet, beautiful Rosey. She is one of the best dogs you will meet in a long time. She will sit, stay and lay down when she is told and probably knows so much more. Her coat is as soft silk and her eyes are stunning. How can you resist her catching smile? Rosey came to the shelter as a stray on 03/26 and her family did not look for her in the shelter. She has been spayed, tested negative for heart worms and she is current on vaccines. She will be micro-chipped when adopted. She is waiting to meet you in run 52 and her ID# is 583047. She is about 2 years old and weighs 54 pounds. A perfect size!
When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ROSEY, a Marietta Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
