Batman's Story...
Batman and his brother, Wolverine are almost twins. They're cute little pooches that are a year and a half old. Batman is about 17 lbs and wont get any larger. He's a great apartment size pooch! When you first meet Batman he acts scared but that lasts for a few minutes and then he's super happy and friendly. We are teaching him to walk on a leash and he's doing well with kennel training. They never lived in a home before we got them. They lived outdoors and were always in the road so their owners decided they better give them up before they got hit by a car. Batman can be growly with other dogs over his food so he needs to be fed away from other pets. He is fine with his food around people, it is just a dog issue. This little guy didnt deserve a life on the streets so it's our hope that we can find him a family that will love and cherish him! Please, you MUST click the following link BEFORE emailing for further information. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Batman, a Harrisonburg Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
