Spencer is extremely loving and affectionate! He is recovering from heartworm treatment and needs a dental and some cysts removed. Spencer needs a family who will give him lots of attention and is patient with his separation anxiety issues. He has some hip dysplasia and is definitely a house dog who wants to be inside with his humans. Spencer will be ready for adoption in mid September.
UPDATE: Spencer was not feeling well and in our question to find out what was wrong he has been diagnosed with Addison's disease, a disorder of the adrenal glands. This is not curable, but is treatable - he will need to go to the vet every 3 weeks for the rest of his life. He will also likely be on a low dose of prednisone. Spencer is a special boy looking for a special family!!
