Rosalind's Story...
We'll never know why ROSALIND's owners chose to repay her years of love & loyalty by abandoning her on a busy 4-lane highway. What we DO know is that this lovely & loving girl deserves a family who will treasure her. We believe Roz is about 5 years old. She's a calm and gentle soul who would be content going for daily walks, occasional swims and just hanging out with her peeps. And while she's no doubt been confused by all the changes in her life, Roz seems to adapt quickly. She's a bit submissive and shy at first, but is soon affectionate and attentive with everyone she meets. She LOVES belly rubs! We haven't seen any neurotic or bad behaviors: she isn't a barker, she doesn't shred her blankets, displays no separation anxiety, and gets on well w/other dogs. In every situation, Roz has been a perfect lady and is a perfect example of why older dogs are so worthy of adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosalind, a Beacon Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Beacon, or seeking a Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Beacon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Beacon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Beacon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Beacon paves the way for another one to be saved.
