My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oden is a beautiful 2.5 year old coonhound. He's a mix of a Plott hound and a Treeing Walker Coonhound. Oden is this through and through. Oden needs lots of exercise every day (miles and miles of it). In return you will have the sweetest, cuddliest boy you can imagine. Without his exercise you will have a very loud, rambunctious dog. Oden is wonderful with children of all ages and other dogs. His only fault there is that he does not understand if another dog does not want to play - he will just keep trying. Yes, Oden is loud. He bays when he's happy, worried, scared, or anxious. The first 24 hours with him will be a challenge, but if you can make it through that you will be rewarded with an extremely sweet and loving boy. A fenced yard is a must for Oden as (like any good hound) he will follow his nose everywhere. That also means no off-leash adventures unless he's in an enclosed space. Oden is very sensitive so positive reward-based training is a must. If you are not familiar with coonhounds, please do a little research first to make sure this breed is for you.
