Monica's Story...
Monica
Female
Welsh Corgi, Pembroke Mix
DOB: 11/20/12
Weight: 25 Pounds

Monica, despite her size, is a sturdy, confident little dog with a sweet personality. She loves her walks and takes to the road as if she has a mission in mind. Her smile and friendly outgoing attitude makes her a wonderful family companion. She would benefit from some basic training which would help her listen to her handler. She is house-trained with a doggie door and gets a long well with other dogs.

Monica would be so grateful to that owner or family that would love her and make her a part of their life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monica, a Mountain Center Welsh Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Welsh Corgi for sale in Mountain Center, or seeking a Welsh Corgi dog from a breeder in Mountain Center.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mountain Center already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mountain Center breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Welsh Corgi breeders who help with Welsh Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mountain Center paves the way for another one to be saved.
