Introducing...Punky Brewster! Her name is quite fitting: sassy, smart and full of zest! Plus, she has the most adorable 'freckles’! Punky is looking for a home with adults only who would like to take Punky on walks and hikes. The Punkster enjoys the company of other dogs, so if you already have a pup and are looking for a second, she may be a good fit. At about a year old and 50 pounds, Punky is still working on her manners and polite household behavior. She is crate trained and house broken. Punky knows heel, sit, down, stay, kennel (place), and here. She's got a great nose and loves scent games and 'find it.' At the end of the day she’s perfectly happy relaxing on her bed with a good chew toy.
We are teaching her that calm is comfortable. She's made tremendous strides with her training but will need reinforcement to remember to be calm and happy. She loves mental stimulation too – puzzle toys and Kongs.
Please note that Punky Brewster is not suited for a first time or novice dog owner given that she’s still in doggie school to learn to be calm. Continued training support with her foster/Baltimore Dogworks will be included free – with her adoption.
Punky's adoption donation fee is $280, which includes spay/neuter, routine vetting and a microchip. You can apply for Punky by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.tarashouse.net or www.tarashouse.org. Please email us at email@example.com with any questions.
