** IN VERMONT ** Meet Wiggly
Winston! Here is his video: https://www.youtube.com/
And another (we just can't get enough of him):
Cute photo right?? Should have named him "Bronx"!
Winston is approx. 2-3 years old, male, neutered, vetted, micro-chipped, and about 58 lbs! Winston is a wiggle butt; he loves people and kids and is always so incredibly happy. He knows sit and is learning wait. He is a sponge for knowledge, loves to go for runs, walks, hikes and is learning how to ride in a car (he is a bit clumsy in a car). He is housetrained and is learning what a ball is. We think Winston has not had much attention in his past nor did someone love him enough to show him the ropes! Someone probably got him as a cute puppy then discarded him while neglecting his basic needs. This fella is so incredibly handsome with red/gold eyes that match his fur; he has a cute underbite. For commands Winston knows Sit, down, bow, touch He is very treat motivated and learns quickly. He is in the process of learning proper doggy social etiquette but would prefer to be the center of attention! He loves to be with people, follows you everywhere, like to sleep with you, like to play fetch, loves to learn trick and does well with obedience training. Highly food motivated. Loves food, belly rubs and people. He would be best with older kids that aren't so unpredictable.
If you are interested in adopting Winston please fill out an Application at www.Passion-4-Paws.org (please make sure you have the Vermont site) thanks!

Disclosure: Breed labels are often incorrect: we rarely know the genetic lineage of the dogs we rescue. Many shelters and rescues specify breeds based on appearance; however, research has shown that less than 2% of a dog’s DNA determines appearance! Passion 4 Paws does not practice the use of labels pertaining to compatibility with others or dog breed. Labels such as “dog friendly” and “child friendly” should be used with caution as they often over-simplify the personalities and behavior of dogs.

Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
