Lyle's Story...
DOB June 1, 2006
I'm a super friendly kitty! It doesn't take me any time all to warm up to new people, and all I'm looking for in life is a warm lap to cuddle up on or a soft blanket to curl up in. I'm also very smart, especially when it comes to training my foster family to give me extra food.

Funny quirks: I like to go to another part of the house and loudly announce to you that I have gone there, in case you thought I had gotten lost. Not to worry, I have just gone into the basement for a few minutes and I'll be back shortly!

I also like to dip my whole face into the water fountain when I drink.

I was previously adopted from TCR but my family returned me when my kidneys stopped working well. I lived at the vet for three weeks before moving in with my current foster family in March of 2016.

Special Needs: Lyle is in renal failure but his condition is being controlled with two pills he takes once a day, alongside a low-protein diet. You would never know he was sick with how sweet and happy he is, and he is expected to live another 1-2 years.

Special Note from my Foster Family: We have never had a foster cat adjust so quickly. Within minutes he was sitting on my lap and rubbing his face on me. He is extraordinarily affectionate with every person who comes into our house, including our four month-old daughter and our two cats.

Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family; an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lyle, a Toronto Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
