Remington - MEET ME's Info...

Remington - MEET ME's Story...
Remington is approx 2 yrs old and 38 lbs. He is a very gentle and sweet dog, but needs another doggy to hang out with as he does have separation anxiety and does not like being on his own. He gets along great with the other dogs. He would not be suitable for an apartment. He is quiet and well behaved, likes to hang out wherever you are, and likes to sleep on the bed at night. We are not sure of his mix but maybe some schnauzer,/terrier mix. He seems to be pretty well house trained and does well on a leash. He is a low to medium energy dog. He tested heart worm positive and has been treated with the required set of injections. He is now on a monthly preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Remington - MEET ME, a Norwalk Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
