My name is Kid!

Hemingway/Polydactyl Cat for adoption in Newtown, Connecticut - Kid

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Kid's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with cats.

Kid's Story...
Kid and his pal Playmate had the misfortune to being FELV positive, They are both doing very well however cats with FELV have a shortened life. We are looking for a home for both kittens together as they have been together since they mistakenly arrived. Both have been tested twice and both times came up positive. they need to be INSIDE ONLY with NO OTHER CATS as it can be spread to other cats only. He is very sweet, purrs up a storm and would love to get out of a cage and have a real life with a loving family who realizes that his life maybe short. he has been fed premium cat food to give him a better survival chance. Hopefully we can find a loving home as we can not bear to put him to sleep or send him to a large FELV sanctuary where he will be exposed to more illness and not much attention. Hopefully someone can open up their hearts and home to this pair. We will NOT separate the two kittens. Here is a short article from Best Friends Sancutary on FELV http://bestfriends.org/stories-blog-videos/latest-news/feline-leukemia-misconceptions

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kid, a Newtown Hemingway/Polydactyl cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hemingway/Polydactyl for sale in Newtown, or seeking a Hemingway/Polydactyl cat from a breeder in Newtown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newtown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newtown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hemingway/Polydactyl breeders who help with Hemingway/Polydactyl rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newtown paves the way for another one to be saved.
