My name is Emit!

German Shepherd Dog Dog for adoption in Fort Worth, Texas - Emit

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Emit's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Emit's Story...
Emit is a great German Shepherd Dog. He is house broken, crate trained, has wonderful house manners. Has some obedience training. He has fallen in love with the older children of the foster home, he plays ball with them and he plays chase and hide n go seek. He also loves to play on the trampoline with the kids.
Emit is however afraid of babies and toddlers. He doesn't know what they are and he doesn't see them as baby humans. He sees them as strange aliens. So he fears them. Older kids 6 and up he loves, they are his BFFs.
Emit does well with most other dogs, though due to his high prey drive we do not recommend Emit go to a home with small dogs.

Emit is ready for his forever home!

Adoption fee is $300.00; this includes spay/neuter, HW test, all vaccinations, microchip and microchip registration.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emit, a Fort Worth German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
