GIGI & FELIX
It's not often we post two dogs together but we feel so strongly about keeping these two together. Gigi & Felix were owner surrenders to the Lancaster shelter. Why? Because a new baby was on the way! We're not sure how these two are related (mother/son or littermates) but their previous 'owner' said they had them both since puppies and they have lived together their whole lives. Upon impounding they were seperated and would have been euthanized alone but we couldn't let that happen! We reunited them and what a happy day that was. They were so excited to see each other they hugged and kissed each other for hours. We know we might have to once again seperate them in order to find them homes but we are holding out hope that someone sees how bonded they are and be willing to adopt them together.
These two are a unique mix of Shepherd (possibly Malamute) Boxer or American Bulldog. We believe Gigi and Felix are approx. 2 - 4 years old although Felix may be Gigi's son and younger then 2.
They are spayed and neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. We believe a well trained dog is a happy dog. Therefore, an intro training session with our behaviorist will be required to ensure they remain well balanced and happy.
Please note that we do not place any dog on a first come, first served basis, but rather to the home that is best suited for that particular dog and breed. An application, home check, adoption contract and fee are required for all adoptions and dogs are seen by appointment only.
For adoption consideration, please download, fill out, and submit our adoption application. Allow at least 48 hours for a response. For additional information about these dogs or Mutt Match L.A., please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
