My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The story of Traveler is one of a short journey. As a puppy, he was just dumped by some people who obviously don't care if a puppy gets hit by a truck or not. The finder graciously took him in and contacted our rescue but we were full at the time. She kindly kept him until we had an opening and now he is getting the vet care, constant food and the love and attention that he deserves. His eye doesn't bother him at all but has had some trauma to it. We will see what the vet says on his next visit.

He is friendly, lovable, and loves to run & play, he gets along with other dogs and love truck rides. He has spent time in a crate, and he has done well. He has been around a pit bull and a small and large dogs and he has done fine. We will be assessing him more as we get to know him. He arrived March 30, 2016. His temperament is friendly and playful puppy-like. We estimate he will be a medium, average size dog, weighing 22 lbs at 3 months.

Name: Traveler
Age: 3-4 mos. old as of March 30
Gender: Male
Weight: 22 lbs. currently
Mix/Purebred: Mix
Housetrained: In progress

Puppies take a lot of time and attention, please don't apply if you are not going to have the time to socialize with people and other dogs, train with commands and behaviors and bond with them. Dogs are pack animals and like to spend time together with their pack ie their people. Traveler will need daily walks, obedience training and socialization with other dogs.
We will post more information as we get to know him.
