Quinn's Story...
Quinn is a 9 year old Havanese looking for a home! He is laid back and a bit shy. He gets along great with other dogs! No small children please- not because he is not good with kids, but because we don't want him harassed by a hair tugging, tail pulling toddler! Quinn would love to curl up next to you on the couch and take a nap- once he gets to know you. He needs a home who will be patient and allow him to adjust at his own pace.
If yo would like to meet Quinn, please GO TO OUR WEBSITE TO READ ABOUT THE ADOPTION PROCESS AND FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION. www.furkidrescue.org
Adoption fee is $375. This will help cover the cost of his dental and neuter surgery.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quinn, a Pittsburgh Havanese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese for sale in Pittsburgh, or seeking a Havanese dog from a breeder in Pittsburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pittsburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pittsburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese breeders who help with Havanese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pittsburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
