Facts about Elsa

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Tortoiseshell
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: CL
  • Hair: Short
Just like her namesake in "Frozen," sweet tortie Elsa has firmly decided what to do with her past: "Let It Go!" "The past is the past," and she is ready to "rise like the break of dawn." You see, born in about May 2015, a pregnant teenage Elsa ended up at the pound; fortunately she was rescued into Buster's Friends' foster care and gave birth to four kittens safely in her foster home.
Her hard-scrabble beginnings and the kill-shelter experience are all in her past, and now Elsa is VERY loving and appreciative to her foster mom. She's still young and VERY playful too! She was very protective of her kittens around the other animals in her foster home, so, even after she has weaned her litter, she is still not good with other cats and needs to be the one and only cat
Likewise, it may take her awhile to adjust to her new family, but her foster mom predicts that Elsa will make a wonderful pet.Like "Frozen's" Elsa, her new motto is, "It's time to see what I can do!" Won't you be that special someone who allows super-sweet Elsa to conquer your heart (just like in the fairy-tale movie)?

Elsa is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. Her adoption fee is $100 for cats over 9 months old, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. About Buster's Friends

About Our Rescue Group...

Buster’s Friends was created in memory of Jennifer Fields. Jennifer spent countless hours rescuing and fostering hundreds of Houston’s homeless animals prior to losing her battle to cancer in May 2009. As a tribute to Jennifer and her dedication, we named the group after her beloved dog Buster, who made the journey to the Rainbow Bridge in August 2008.
